The College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) is responsible for approving the education programs located in Alberta that lead to initial entry to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or nurse practitioner (NP) and re-entry to practice as an RN.
The CRNA has a defined process, known as Nursing Education Program Approval (NEPA), to ensure that these post-secondary institutes are effectively educating nursing students to be eligible for registration in Alberta.
In this webinar, learn more about how the CRNA evaluates nursing education programs in Alberta and ensures they align with the entry-level competencies for RNs and NPs.
After the webinar, a video recording of the session will be shared on this page.
Registration for this webinar will open Sept. 23, 2025.
It's free to attend, but you must register in advance.
Have a Nursing Education Program Approval-related question you want answered during the webinar? You will be able to submit your questions to the CRNA once registration for this webinar opens.
