People and Culture Project Specialist
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this position will work to support the execution of the CRNA’s People and Culture Transformation Project. This role will focus on delivering key project outcomes across all four program streams, including competency framework development, technology assessment, capability building and competency management. The individual will play a critical role in coordinating activities, engaging interested parties, managing data and ensuring the successful delivery of program milestones.
What You Will Do
Project Coordination and Administration:
- Support the People and Culture Manager in planning, tracking and delivering project objectives within the specified timelines.
- Collaborate with the People and Culture operational team to provide support on overlapping initiatives tied to the People and Culture Transformation Project.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and interviews with interested parties, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including action logs, timelines and updates.
Competency Framework Development:
- Assist in conducting job analyses to identify critical skills and competencies for roles at the CRNA.
- Help draft job descriptions, competency dictionaries and profiles for review and validation.
- Support workshops with senior leadership and other interested parties to refine competencies.
Human Resources (HR) Policy Review & Updates:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all existing HR policies.
- Identify areas for improvement, including updates to existing policies and the creation of new policies.
- Ensure all HR policies are aligned with current legislation and best practices.
Records Management:
- Review and update the records retention policy for employee files.
- Assist in the implementation of organizing and labeling employee records to ensure data security and accessibility.
Partner Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact for program partners, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from key partners to validate and refine deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the People and Culture team and the Change Management team, and align activities with program objectives.
Reporting:
- Ensure all activities align with organizational frameworks, policies and compliance standards.
- Prepare regular status reports and presentations for program leadership, outlining progress, risks and opportunities.
- Track and report on performance measures to evaluate program success.
What You Possess
Education and Experience
Diploma in Human Resources Management (or related field) plus six (6) years of experience in HR project coordination, project management, HR transformation, HR operations or organizational initiatives. A CPHR designation or progress towards obtaining is an asset.
Skills & Competencies

- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including report preparation and presentations.
- Working knowledge of HRIS, HCM or survey tools is an asset.

- High attention to detail, organization and ability to manage complex projects with multiple deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other relevant tools for reporting and compliance monitoring.
