As a collaborator in Alberta's health care ecosystem, the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) is committed to supporting employers in fostering a professional, competent and ethical nursing workforce through Right-touch relational regulation.
The CRNA is gathering feedback in the development of 11 new standards to support NPs in fulfilling their expanded roles within Alberta's health care ecosystem and to support the Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Program.
Find all 11 of the new NP standards and provide your feedback using the button below.
The deadline to submit feedback is Feb. 28, 2025.
The CRNA is looking to gather information that will assist in the revision of the CRNA's standards related to infection prevention and control, as well as advertising.
Feedback will help ensure the standards are clear, concise and accurately outline what the public can expect from Alberta RNs and NPs to provide safe, competent and ethical care.
The deadline to submit feedback is March 2, 2025.
The CRNA is seeking registered nurses (RNs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) to fill vacancies on Council and regulatory committees. The term of appointment is for three (3) years, commencing Oct. 1, 2025, and expiring Sept. 30, 2028.
