The Regulatory Spectrum visually represents the CRNA’s philosophy in meeting our legislated mandate with compassion and proportionality.
Depicting a range of flexibility and discretion levels, the Regulatory Spectrum guides how the CRNA thinks, makes decisions and explores solutions related to standards, registration, practice and complaints. As a Right-touch relational regulator, the CRNA can look at individual cases with the context and flexibility to determine what level of regulation is appropriate in a given situation.
Watch the video for a more detailed explanation and a look at how the Regulatory Spectrum may be applied in certain cases.
