Voluntary Registrant Survey

As a regulator, the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) is uniquely positioned to be able to contact registrants. As a partner in Alberta’s health-care ecosystem, we recently distributed a voluntary registrant survey with a goal of obtaining, analyzing and sharing information related to registration and workforce participation to aid employers, post-secondary institutions and other collaborators in future planning.

The survey was sent to the full register on Mar. 4, 2025, which included 48,809 active registrants. A total of 4,325 responses were submitted, which represents approximately 8.86 per cent of the active register.
