CARNA members provide the highest standards of patient care and safety, and engage in continuing competence activities to ensure best practices and current research are part of their practice.
The Health Professions Act (HPA) requires all regulated health professions to establish continuing competence programs that enable members to maintain their competence and enhance the provision of safe and competent service to the public.
