The College had a pivotal fiscal year. The annual report and financials released today showcase the work taken to effectively enhance the College's ability to regulate the profession in the public's interest. The annual report outlines the achievements for the year, and features statistics and facts that illustrate our successes.
The College underwent massive change by finalizing our move to a single-mandate regulator, developing new streamlined processes to support governance and registration, and aligning our decision-making to Right-touch thinking. This groundwork allows the College to transform our regulatory processes further to serve in the public interest and enhance the health-care system for the benefit of all Albertans.
The annual report and the financial statements were approved by Council and sent to the Honourable Jason Copping, Minister of Health. The documents are for the fiscal and registration period of Oct. 1, 2021, to Sept. 30, 2022.
