Almost 80 per cent of registration fees go towards paying for the services provided by CARNA.
This contribution covers CARNA's CNA membership, giving CARNA members
access to resources such as NurseONE tools and online resources and
the Canadian Nurse magazine. The fee also supports national
initiatives, such as advertising campaigns.
CNPS provides you with professional liability protection, as well as offers legal advice, risk management services and legal assistance.
ARNET is a registered charity that raises, manages and distributes continuing education funds for RNs and NPs. Your contributions fund RN and NP participation in educational opportunities from workshops to degree-level programs in every area of practice.
Every year since 2005, a portion of registration fees have gone towards a capital reserve. Capital fees go towards the replacement and preventative maintenance of capital assets, such as infrastructure or information technology. By maintaining a capital reserve, we are able to replace, maintain and invest in the tools necessary to keep CARNA running.
