For over 30 years, Jerry has been taking care of patients in a direct-care, clinical practice setting. He has worked in one of Alberta's most remote northern hospitals and recently worked at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie, one of Alberta's fastest-growing small cities.
He is currently working in Chronic Disease Management, a community-based programme addressing non-communicable diseases. Jerry is the first male CARNA President and is passionate about strengthening CARNA’s role as an association, advocating for excellence in nursing practice, excellence in nursing workplaces and excellence in the health system.
