Reserve your seat! Seating is limited and available by reservation on a first-come, first-served basis and should be arranged at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting. Coffee breaks and lunch are provided to observers with a reserved seat.
Please note: The CARNA office is a smoke-free, scent-free environment.
The CARNA office opens at 8:00 a.m. and the meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. Please register with reception upon arrival. At this time, you will receive a visitor tag to be worn at all times during the meeting. Before you leave, please return your tag to reception and sign out.
Please be seated in the meeting room no later than 8:25 a.m. and five minutes before the meeting reconvenes after each break. To minimize disturbances please remain seated and, unless absolutely necessary, turn off your cellular phone.
A copy of the Council meeting package will be available outside the Provincial Council meeting room.
A limited number of visitor parking spots are available in front of the CARNA office and the north side of the building. Additional parking is available on the street. All parking at the rear and south side of the building is reserved for staff parking.
For individuals with disabilities, two parking stalls at the front of the building are reserved.
Cameras and video cameras are not permitted in Provincial Council meeting room, except by special permission. Please note that an audio recording will be made solely for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy of the meeting record, and will be erased upon approval of the meeting record.
Observers are not to interfere with the Council Meeting, engage in debate or make public statements during the Council meeting, except during Open Forum sessions. These sessions are an opportunity for observers to:
During the Open Forum you will be given an opportunity to go to the microphone and address the Council. Please introduce yourself and speak clearly and directly into the microphone.
