The professional conduct process is part of CARNA’s mandate, as a self-regulatory body, to regulate members and protect the public.

The process begins with the receipt of a complaint about a regulated member, and may involve an investigation, hearing, sanctions against a member’s practice, and follow-up to ensure the member is safe to practice.
